Sinds deze week loopt er een petitie voor het plaatsen van een fietsbeugel aan trage weg 116 (Kerkweg voetweg). Die trage weg maakt de verbinding tussen de Regastraat en de Kerkhofstraat. Naast de maatregelen die de gemeente eerder al nam, komen er ook op korte termijn speciale fietsbeugels op maat.
De gemeente Rotselaar bouwt aan een vernieuwde participatiecultuur. Met de uitgebreide expertise, kennis en ervaring van inwoners, wil de gemeente tot een kwalitatief en gedragen beleid komen. Daarom werd de werking van de adviesraden grondig vernieuwd. In de nieuwe adviesraden kunnen meer inwoners, zowel tijdelijk als structureel, hun stem laten horen. Gemotiveerde inwoners kunnen tot en met 31 mei reageren op de oproep.
